Do I travel for family photography sessions?

Yes, I do. I’m based in the south of Adelaide and often photograph along the Fleurieu Peninsula, but I also regularly travel across Adelaide for sessions when it’s the best fit for my clients. This includes coastal locations like Henley Beach, which offer a beautiful, open setting for relaxed lifestyle family photography.

What is it like having a session at Henley Beach?

Henley Beach is a lovely option if you’re drawn to the coastline. I photograph in a relaxed, lifestyle way, so the focus is never on stiff posing or perfect behaviour. Instead, it’s about letting your family interact naturally while I gently guide you into moments that feel real and connected.

There are also quieter areas around Henley Beach that work beautifully for sessions, especially when we want a more relaxed pace away from busier sections of the coastline.

Is there a travel fee for Henley Beach Family Photography Adelaide, or similar?

Yes, a small travel fee of $47 applies for locations further from my base in the south of Adelaide. I keep this minimal so families can choose the location that feels right for them without it becoming a major consideration.

When is the best time for beach photography?

I usually photograph at sunset, regardless of location. This time of day gives the softest and most flattering light, especially at the beach. Early mornings sessions on the beach across Adelaide can work too.

Warmer months are often ideal for families with younger children, as everyone is more comfortable and relaxed outdoors. However, cooler months can also create beautiful results, with softer tones, dramatic skies and a more atmospheric feel, as long as everyone is dressed appropriately.
