Almond Blossom Sessions in Adelaide

Every year in South Australia, there’s a short window where the almond blossoms come alive and paint our landscape in a beautiful white blanket of flowers.

I wholeheartedly believe it's a season we all look forward to and long for as it reminds us Spring isn't too far away. It carries hope and a glimpse of longer, warmer days in South Australia.

These sessions are created around that time (see some of my previous work here

and here).

This year, the Almond Blossom Sessions in Adelaide will be held on the historic Old Chaff Mill Retreat in Sellicks Hill, South Australia. The sessions will take place within the blossom orchard on the property. A private, seasonal setting surrounded by flowering trees and natural light that shifts beautifully throughout the day.

This is not a rushed mini session setup. Quite the opposite!

Each booking is given dedicated time so you can settle in, slow down, and actually enjoy the experience without feeling like you’re being moved through a checklist.

I will gently guide you throughout your session so you’re never wondering what to do, but the focus always stays on real connection and natural interaction between you.

The small in-between moments matter just as much as the big ones.

The way you reach for each other without thinking. The way your children relax once they stop noticing the camera.

These sessions are designed for:

Family (not including extended family sessions)

Maternity

Newborn

Couples (proposals, couples celebrating their love, recently engaged, milestone)

Elopement portraits (portrait-focused only. No ceremony coverage. Couple only)

Location

Old Chaff Mill Retreat, Sellicks Hill, South Australia.

Sessions take place within the almond blossom orchard on the property. Location details will be provided to booked clients. The location is a private property - you cannot simply enter without booking a session.

Please note:

Due to the nature of blossom season and weather conditions your booking may be moved to the week before or after if rain is forecast or if the almond blossoms are not in full bloom.

I will be in contact with you prior, to work with you to reschedule your session.

styling guidance prior to your session and information to help you prepare, with location details and more.

Includes one 11x14 mounted fine art print

The Heirloom Collection - $1247

Session & 30 fine art edited digital images

Includes two 11x14 mounted fine art prints

Any additional standout images beyond 30 are included a gift as part of the Heirloom Collection (between 2-5).

Gallery Delivery

Your fine art edited images will be delivered within 2–4 weeks after your session via a private online gallery. From here, you’ll be able to view and download your selected collection in high resolution.

Your gallery will also include the option to order heirloom albums and wall art if you choose to.
