So where do I love to photograph? Locations?

Updated: Jan 19, 2021

Choosing a location has never been easier. Read this post below to help you decide on your favourite spot for your next session.

Don't take away their fun. Let them rumble and play. Thta's what I love about lifestyle photography. Keeping it real. Keeping it simple. No stress.

Locations and why they matter

Choosing a location is just as important as what your choice of wardrobe for the session will be. Things to bear in mind are how the location in the images would suit your home. We know all images have colour, even black and white images create a mood. You do not want the mood of your images to clash with the mood of your home. Think Light and Airy images for a light and airy home, beachy images for a beachy, Boho, Hamptons, easy going and modern home. Of course you can mix in dark and moody images in a light and airy home just be sure colours of images and home match and do not clash making you regret your investment of beautiful images.

You cant go wrong with the hills in Adelaide. Beautiful in all seasons.
Winter Greens or Golden Summer Fields

My favourite locations

I mainly photograph on the south of Adelaide, photographing families, children and maternity in the great outdoors. I work in all seasons (you can read 'Seasons' for more info) whether it be along the beach at sunset, rolling hills and golden grass in Summer, Spring time blossom bonanza or winter's green hues, every season has it's beauty to offer. And in saying that, a lot of locations may look and give a completely different feel depending on what season we're in. Please take the time to read 'Seasons' to get an idea of what will work for you and your family.

Below is a list of all my favourite outdoor locations to hold sessions. I am always open to new locations too. So, if you think you have a spot which may work for a shoot please do let me know. It just may become my new favourite location. If you feel your home property is suitable we can definitely work around that too.

As an Adelaide family photographer, Port Willunga has to be one of my favourite locations for a shoot.
Port Willunga you never fail!
